Refund and Returns Policy for Digital Products
At Shop Mediaofficers, we want to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. However, because our products are digital goods delivered via Internet download, we generally offer a different refund policy than physical stores.
1. Nature of Digital Products
Unlike physical goods, digital products (software, GPL plugins, Canva templates, and video bundles) cannot be “returned” once they have been downloaded or accessed. Therefore, we do not offer refunds for “change of mind” or “accidental purchases” once the download link has been accessed.
2. Eligibility for a Refund
We will honor refund requests under the following specific circumstances:
- Non-delivery of the product: Due to an issue with our mail server or download link, you do not receive the product.
- Major defects: The product file is corrupted or does not work as described on the product page.
- Wrong Product: You received a different product than what was shown at the time of purchase.
- Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same product twice, we will refund the second transaction.
3. Timeframe for Claims
All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date. Requests made after 7 days will not be eligible for a refund.
4. Ineligibility for Refunds
We cannot offer refunds if:
- You simply decided you don’t want the product anymore.
- The product is a GPL-licensed plugin and you are unable to receive “auto-updates” (as GPL versions usually require manual updates).
- You do not have the technical knowledge to use the product (e.g., you don’t know how to use Canva or install a WordPress plugin).
- Your Facebook/Canva/Instagram account gets restricted for reasons unrelated to our product.
5. GPL Plugin & Theme Specifics
Products sold under the GNU General Public License (GPL) are provided “as-is.” While we ensure the files are safe and functional, we do not provide license keys for developer support or automatic updates unless explicitly stated on the product page. Refunds will not be issued based on the lack of a developer license key.
